When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy

a couple of the girls

It all started when we got sheep…

We needed some sheep to cut the grass and give me some wool to mat some hats. And then I decided to combine my love of Watercolour Painting and my love of fibre and Watercolour with Wool was born.

Meet a couple of the girls. They are fleece sheep meaning just that, I have them for their wool. There wool is shorn once a year and cleaned, dyed and made into felt and then the art and as such my art is a seasonal process. This is Helen and Gloria. Lindsay is probably hanging out with her buddy Barney the Donkey.

My covid project that took one year to complete. This is my reason for being. I live in muskoka for the rocks and trees and water. I have put down my roots and created family and love the world that supports me here

Reason for Being

Wool from our sheep

Using the wool sheared from our resident sheep, pam then washes, dyes and cards the fleece to create felt.  This background felt then provides the ideas on a direction to take my landscape art. Pam’s art is very intuitive in nature and she enjoys the journey her imagination and her spirit takes her on with each piece of art she creates, She feels so privileged to live in such a special place as Canada and especially Muskoka with its rocks, trees and water. These are her reasons for being.
